Business Works’ CEFECaribbean Centre for Entrepreneurs, Enterprises & Ecosystem Development (SEED) Incubator is a flagship workplace for MSME development where operational rigour meets grassroots relevance. We combine structured assessment, self-leadership, and continuous improvement with a culture of close engagement that makes growth both practical and personal.
At SEED, we practice what we teach. Our team is guided by international standards and certifications. This includes ISO 20700 in consulting, PMI project management, GrowthWheel coaching, ITC/ILO monitoring and evaluation, and IAF facilitation best practices. These frameworks ensure that our work is consistently professional, transparent, and effective. More importantly, they give our members a tested pathway to adopt similar standards in their own enterprises, making them more competitive in regional and global markets.
We are Caribbean cultivated and world class honed, always learning from experience and leveraging lessons learned to sharpen our methods. This commitment helps our membership of small enterprises' deep stories to systematically drive their big dreams.

Standardised Yet Customized: Our SEED Curriculum is built on a standardised framework to guarantee quality, accountability, and alignment with international best practices (CEFE, PMP, and ISO 20700:2017). Within this structure, each enterprise follows a customised pathway. Modules are adapted to reflect the enterprise’s sector, stage of growth, and cultural realities. This balance ensures consistency of standards while delivering relevance and impact for every incubatee.
Our sequencing is informed by respected global models such as the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women initiative, but it is not a copy. The originality of the SEED Curriculum lies in its Caribbean grounding, integrating local business realities, rural cooperative experiences, and regional market dynamics. The result is a curriculum that is globally benchmarked yet authentically Caribbean, designed to deliver impact in our context.
The SEED Curriculum is customized for each enterprise. This phase lays the foundation. Members focus on self-awareness, confidence, and cultivating the right entrepreneurial mindset.
